Call for lists 2022 – ESC

Dear National Cardiac Societies Presidents,

To accomplish its mission, the European Society of Cardiology is proud to be able to count on the involvement of the National Cardiac Societies. This strong collaboration allows the implementation of numerous initiatives aimed at raising standards of care and promoting the exchange of scientific knowledge and networking.

The National Cardiac Societies and their paying members are part of the ESC Community and can make the most of a unique experience from networking to educational tools and scientific resources. ESC Congress 2021 aimed at further creating new ways to engage online with your societies and your members and disseminate the best of ESC science.

In order to officially recognise your members as members of the ESC Community and entitle them to the many privileges, it is important that we receive an accurate list of your society’s paying members. This allows us to confirm their status and give them access to valuable benefits including:
– Article processing charge savings (10% to 30%) on most journals
– ESC Pocket Guidelines at onsite ESC Congresses
– Access to ESC Pocket Guidelines through the mobile app
– Savings on ESC Journals
– Savings on ESC Books
– ESC Webinar on recent ESC Guidelines (onsite event and on-demand)
– ESC Clinical case gallery
– ESC Member directory

We kindly ask you to post your list in your dedicated section on Box before 18 February 2022.

The ESC complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the data protection laws in France. GDPR requires that where personal data is collected and communicated to a third party; the individual must be informed beforehand.
Our understanding of the GDPR is that it is the responsibility of the National Cardiac Society to inform its members of their ESC membership. After receipt of the members list, the ESC will contact the said individual members by email, to inform them about their rights, notably the right, to request from the ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of their personal data or restriction of processing concerning their data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

We thank you very much for your collaboration and look forward to hearing back from you.

With best regards,
